Project 52 started !

Hi !
As we, my best friend Elyrah and me, are both begginers in photography, we decided to start a new challenge: Project 52. Aech week, we are going to post a picture about our quotidian.
The main purpose is to practice, every week. But we both think that the project would help us to apreciate our quotidian as it is or to move up.
It looks pretty easy, but it took us a few weeks to think about it and get started. The first time we talked about it, we were talking about those 365 project, but we don't have time enough to manage a project like that everyday. So we decided 1 picture a week would be a good option. Now that we initiate the project we both are excited and motivated for next week !
Well, as photography is like a therapy to me, i really hope that we will go far in this project. The first goal is to continue the project at least one year
So, here we go: our project !

Leaving paint for photography

Hello guys/girls !
I just had to make a little update... well, no. just the update of the year. haha
Well, as you know people does not change, but evolve. that's just what i did for year. That's my little story :3
As a child i dreamed about being a photographer. But i finally did not, that was not easy to me. I was not informed enough, or not ready maybe. I did a stage with a photographer once, i was about 13~14, i just loved it ! In college, i was in a photography club: i took pictures with the old camera of my father and developed them.
And i had other projects at the same time. I even wanted to become a medical examiner ! But my efforts were primarily to move forward and accept me, just as i am... it took me years. But well, i am an alien, that's all (just understand: not a girly girl, i am somebody and that's good enough). I still kept a link with imaging trying me drawing and painting, but that's not really a success... Still missing something.
And you know how youth is, life it still goes on, studies, jobs, tring to find my place, etc. Years pass.
I studied science for a year: i hate theory so i left haha. I found by hazard an easy way and kept on track. I have two degrees in computer programming and i don't like it. But, anyway it looks good on my resume.
I begun to work after that: 6 months programming, then little jobs (i am temporary) in shops or factories... Well, first jobs.
And one day, i had an interview for another job, they said "it's ok you can join us for the project." It was two years ago, and i still working in the same company today. I scan heritage funds and pictures. That's very interesting and there are so many beautiful things we see everyday ! That's how, one day, i bought a camera. And i love it (still looking for a firstname for it haha). Recently, I bought the macro camera lens a colleague: i love it !
I think i found my artistic way ! That's how i feel right now, and it feels so good !
Well, it's been a long time since the last time a posted something here... i have a Flickr account.
But i still like DA, and i want to update my account too. I am sorry for those who are not interested in photography, i don't draw anymore (i am i liar! i sketch somethings you can see on Twitter (sketch_Dailies power!). I am going to post here my favorite pictures, that's not objective but i am ok with that.
I really hope you will like it, and don't leave me :3

Sketching on DA !

Hello dear watchers ! (and everybody reading at this! )
Those months I flood my Da page with sketches... because i sketch. I didn't finish a piece for so long !
Well, i flood and i don't like that ! >.<"
I was looking for another way to publish some sketches i do, and finally chose to create another DA page.
The fact is that i try to sketch with daily sketch challenge group, so i want to post them here, to be in the group too. But if i do that i flood my Da page again...
Also, I tried a few platforms and the one i prefer is DeviantArt. I always come back here !
So let me introduce you my sketchbook on DA ! \o/

Hello, this is just an update... well, the last journal i wrote here dated from 1 year ago... ^^"
I changed a lot, about things i see and the way i draw. I found a way to draw: i am my pencils' master and nothing more important. F*ck proportions and real colors !
I feel now much better and free in my mind. A few things don't look good in my lofe, but i think it's gonna change soon, that's just a passing
Also, i have a great job now ! I scan and retouch images. That was not my job, but i learn and love it, i feel very lucky about it ! <3
I don't post a lot and i sometimes regret it. I didn't finish a complete piece for months ! I just doodle, doodle and doodle a little more~
I know that i'm a hobbyist but i want to improve too, by doodling every day, with or without reference if i just need to let off steam.
I noticed another difference: i have now a few more followers every weeks (helloooooo!) in my different profiles. I want to thank all of you! :3
I did a Twitter account to follow (and spy Micky Green for news about her new album, i assume). I don't tweet a lot, but i was thinking about it and maybe it can be more convenient for you? Well, let me know > @GaelleCely ^^

PS: Look! i improved my english ! i used Google traduction only three times to write this journal !

I don't submit a lot here thoses times, well, I am in a phase of my life when i only sketches: i am not as patient as i was and i really need to practice. So i draw everyday and try to publish them on my sketchblog to still motivate. I realize that's a really good thing: even if i don't submit a sketch i do it (even if i don't have time ) and i know that i improved just only this month and so i am pretty happy
I work almost everyday with 30sec. This is a very nice website to practice and improve! I think i just felt in love this it *-* If you don't know that website you should just take a look
